The Respawn brand has been around for more than a decade, doing a good job of providing great value at a reasonable price. When the gaming recliner arrived, we immediately noticed that it is a well-made and adjustable chair that can make office work much more pleasant.

It comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so it can serve as a long-term investment with nothing to worry about as long as you are following the manufacturer’s instructions on how to use it. It is available in a couple of colors, including Blue, Black, Grey, and our personal favorite - Red. After testing it for a few days, we were satisfied with its performance.

What’s Included?

Apart from the features that are integrated into the build of this chair, such as the headrest, backrest, and leg extension, there aren’t any fancy extra accessories. We were satisfied with the instruction guide, though, as it included all the necessary details on how to adjust this recliner to fit your needs.

Overview of Features

The first point that we were quite impressed by was the structure. Measuring 35.04 x 30.71 x 44.88 inches, it weighs around 48.5 pounds and offers a load capacity of 275 pounds. Made out of faux leather and a heavy-duty stainless-steel frame, we truly enjoyed the sturdiness that this product offers. Although rugged, this recliner offers nice comfort, which is mostly due to the plush back and memory foam padding.

Yes, there is a headrest, but unfortunately, it is more of a neck rest if you are taller than 6’0”. Frankly, this is our only major concern because this means it may not be the optimal choice if you are somewhat taller (you will need to look for an additional head support pillow). On the other hand, the chair is fully padded, which is why we didn’t feel any back strain after hours of sitting in front of our computer.

Talking about the cool design details, we were impressed with the spacious pouch that sits just below the left armrest. If you are a gamer, you will find it very useful, as everything can be close to you in the pouch and you won't have to pause your game and get up.

While we did enjoy using the footrest, we have to say that it grinds a bit when it is fully extended. However, the manufacturer did a fantastic job when it comes to the reclining mechanism, as you can lie back up to 135 degrees. Additionally, the reliable base allowed us to rotate a full 360 degrees, which just adds to the overall convenience.

Although there are a couple of design points that we would like to see improved, we consider that the Respawn 900 Gaming Recliner to be a chair worth trying out.

The footrest is controlled by a reliable lever, and the same goes for the reclining mechanism, which allows us to position this chair for optimal comfort. Given the resourceful instruction manual, you should have an easy time assembling and adjusting this chair without any fancy tools.
